COMMUNICATION

✩ Please check & read emails we sent out. We promise we do write them for your benefit.

✩ Add us on Facebook & Instagram, we send out deals and great information through social media often!

✩ You will receive regular feedback about lessons and rehearsals from our teachers via email and in person. Feel free to request a Teacher/Parent conference at any time. The more communication, the better!

MATERIALS & GEAR

✩ Please download the SCHOOL OF ROCK METHOD APP for your iPhone or Android. Your login will be the same as your Pike 13 account login. You should be signed in to receive homework after your lesson.

✩ Make sure to bring a Notebook & your Method book to every Lesson/Band

✩ All Students must have their own instruments and accessories. This includes: Microphones, Guitar or Bass, Straps, Case, Tuner, Picks, Drumsticks

TICKETS & PRODUCTION FEES

✩ Your student will be scheduled to play seasonal concerts. Any student in our Rock 101, Performance, or Adult program will be charged a seasonal production fee on the 15th of the second month of each season. The production fee helps cover show memorabilia, posters, printing, promotions, sound, staffing and all the other things needed to put on an awesome Rock Concert!!! Please review the Show Fee Document & School Calendar for more information.

CANCELLATION OF ENROLLMENT OR LESSONS
✩ We require a 30-day notice to cancel or make any major changes to your account. It must be in writing, via email, and sent to columbia@schoolofrock.com. Teachers do not schedule themselves.

✩ We can offer a makeup lesson for private lessons, but only with a 24hr notice. If a student is a “no show” the teacher is still compensated for being here and prepared to teach. If we do not have 24-hour notice, no makeup will be provided. All schedule related questions must go through the Manager on duty and not the private lesson instructor

CLOSED HOLIDAYS & PREP WEEK

✩ At the end of every season we close for 1 week to give your hardworking kids a break. We don’t pro-rate for this, but we also don’t charge extra for 5-week months either. It all works out over the course of a season.
✩ There are also a few holidays that we are closed for, and don’t offer makeups. These holidays are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Please see our seasonal calendar.

HEARING PROTECTION POLICY

School of Rock REQUIRES the use of ear protection during rehearsals, live shows or any activities with sustained sound exposure. It is the student’s responsibility to possess and maintain hearing protection while participating in School of Rock activities. School of Rock will suggest ear plugs and hearing protection solutions at the request of the parent/guardian.
